Brandon Shroy | Columbus Ohio Criminal Defense Attorney

Brandon Shroy only practices criminal defense. Since 2006 Brandon has been in trial courtrooms daily handling criminal charges.

After graduating from Capital University Law School he accepted a prosecution position at the Columbus City Attorney's Office. Brandon quickly developed a reputation as an aggressive litigator with an ability to expertly apply detailed legal knowledge to his cases with outstanding results. 

With experience as both a prosecutor and criminal defense attorney, Brandon is adept at perceiving and addressing weaknesses in the prosecution's case, which has proved an invaluable asset in his criminal defense practice.

As a trial attorney, Brandon has been invited to consult with local law enforcement agencies to train officers on the complex issues that arise during hearings and trials.  

Brandon practices in all central Ohio courts including the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the Courts of Common Pleas, Municipal courts and Mayor's courts.

Carly joined Shroy Law in March of 2021 when she moved to Columbus, Ohio from Fredericksburg, Virginia. While continuing her education Carly has worked various job that have made her well equipped for her current role as a paralegal. With her determination to help as well as ongoing respect and compassion for our clients, she has been a wonderful addition to Shroy Law.

Elizabeth McGann|Criminal Defense Legal Assistant

Betsy oversees administrative and accounting tasks while providing unique insight into social issues involved with crime. She provides invaluable internal support for clients.

Betsy received her bachelor’s degree in 1996 from The Ohio State University. Betsy joined Shroy Law in 2021 and brings years of administrative - and life- experience to the firm. She is always ready to do what she can to make our clients feel safe and confident in the abilities of Shroy Law.
